Q: Is Jensen Enterprises properly insured and bonded?
A: Yes, we carry a bond in NE and IA. We also carry general liability, worker’s compensation, and vehicle insurance to protect our customers.
Q: What warranty do you offer?
A: We have a 5-year craftsmanship warranty to cover any leaks or lost materials. The products we install offer lifetime warranties against manufacturing defects.
Q: What services does Jensen Enterprises offer?
A: We provide repairs and replacements to wood, asphalt, rubber, asbestos, and metal roofs. We do repairs and replacements on vinyl and wood siding. We, also, offer repairs and replacements to gutter systems.
Q: Do I need to be present for my appointment?
A: It is much preferred that the homeowner is present for the initial appointment so we can go over our findings immediately with you, but if scheduling does not allow for an agreeable time, we can do the inspection with the homeowner’s permission and call or email our report.
Q: Is there an incentive program for referring new customers?
A: Yes, we do offer incentives for customers referred to us and to who we were able to provide services.
Q: Do I need to do anything before my installation job starts?
A: There are some things a homeowner can do to help. Mowing the grass the day before an installation can help in cleaning the yard. Removing all vehicles, etc from the driveway the night before will allow for immediate setup and the job to start. Potentially removing valuables from the inside of exterior walls, will help lessen the chance of damaged items.
Q: Can we install multiple layers on a roof?
A: No, it is against code and best practices to install multiple layers of asphalt shingles.
Q: Can my gutters be repaired?
A: Gutter systems that are not severely rusted can be repaired, partially, or fully replaced.
Q: Does Jensen Enterprises work directly with insurance companies?
A: Yes, we can meet with insurance inspectors, directly bill the insurance co, and work with adjusters directly to get things ready for repairs to begin.
Q: Can my work be done in winter?
A: If the need arises, we can do winter installs, but it is better for shingles and siding to be put on in warmer weather. Asphalt shingles will seal and sit better in warmer weather and vinyl siding can be brittle in cold temps. If a house needs to be sold or a roof is leaking, we can make the repairs any time of year with the right products and careful installation.
